ZOMBIE! Schwag

After my washing machine disaster, I've been left with fewer clothes. What better time to get some ZOMBIE! shirts?
The package arrived yesterday. I was expecting to open the box and find a hoodie. I was speechless at the surprises inside.
You may recall the post about Eric's battle against Rob Zombie's lawyers, and how Rob Zombie himself had kindly contacted Eric to say everything was cool. Well, Eric has shown overwhelming generosity in a gesture of thanks to me by including a truckload of ZOMBIE! merchandise in addition to the hoodie.
Four rockin' t-shirts, a baseball hat, cd of music, a rubber spider and candy in the shape of severed digits.
And yes, that's actually me in the hoodie. I don't post pictures of myself usually, even partial shots like this one. I like my anonymity but thought I should make an exception to say thanks to Eric.
Now onto a fun bit of trivial knowledge. American sizing is different from Canadian sizing, and I always forget this. Usually, men's t-shirts that are a large in Canada are considered a medium in the United States. Depending on the brand, a large t-shirt in the U.S. could be considered an XL...or even XXL here.
I am a curvy woman. I have hips and all the other luscious hills and valleys that comes with estrogen. Even when I was a leaner 20-something, I had trouble fitting into women's/girl's t-shirts (apparently women are shaped like 10 year old boys). I've come to accept that I don't fit fitted T's, and sometimes steal Yetch's t-shirts (don't feel bad for him. He had one of my new t-shirts on before I'd even taken them all out of the box).

Luckily, the Hanes brand t-shirt which had my favourite print of all the T's (the one on the far right with the woman's face and the skeleton hands) fits close to perfect: loose with room on my curvy hips. With a simple alteration to the length (I know people who sew, luckily) it may become my favourite t-shirt of my entire closet.
Meanwhile, in the Anvil brand t-shirt (olive green with the zombie face), I look like I am 5 years old, wearing my father's clothes. I can't believe both shirts are labelled large. But not to fear! Again, with an alteration to length, I could (and will) easily wear this with a cardigan. Or it will help replace the pajamas lost in the washing machine catastrophe.
The crown jewel, though, is the hoodie. Just big enough that I can wear a shirt beneath it. Perfect.
Thanks Eric!

those designs are amazing! Great merch from an awesome artist.

That was very nice of Eric to do that!
I can see how US sizes would be different. We tend to be bigger than Canadians! Girl shirts suck for girls who have more hill than valley. :)
