It is with no great exaggeration that I say it's been a busy month. I was a vendor at the Bazaar of the Bizarre, submitted pieces for Nightmare on Queen St at 416 Gallery in Toronto and attended the opening night masquerade party last night (404 Queen St E if you want to go have a peek), and had two days to decorate for SPACE Channel (Canada's SyFy equivalent for my American readers). I love sharing my work but the idea of being on camera made me hide under the couch. The episode actually airs this evening at 6:00 EST on Innerspace.
With so much on my plate (not to mention an impending November move), I decided I would have my Halloween fun at the start of the month. I went with friends to Orlando for 5 days. One of our stops was to Universal Studios for their Halloween Horror Nights.
I've decided to go through some of my pictures today and post a few for you. We'll start with "The Purge". I didn't have a tripod with me, so most of the photos are in the daytime for this streetscape. Luckily I did manage to get some fine night shots in other areas.
But for now, some daytime shots of what it's like to be immersed in a city where the culling of people is encouraged. Smoke and the sound of gunfire fill the air. And even in the sunlight, it's impressive.
