Step 3: Sandwich Base Pieces Around Styrofoam

The styrofoam layer does a few things.

1. It gives me a thicker, sturdier base.
2. It provides a material to run the poles for the carousel figurines through. This will help keep them in place.
3. It counts as one of the 5 items I have to use for the prop challenge ;)

I used two pieces of duct tape on opposite sides of the circles to tape the cardboard closed over the styrofoam like a big oreo cookie.
