Someone Chose Brains
Diane, a faithful visitor and friend to this website, has started a new blog called
Wouldn't You Like to See Something Strange.
Yes. Yes I would. I always do.
She found this image showing that not all of us are still debating between brains and coffee.
You know, if more advertising agencies took this approach with their campaigns, I would probably fall victim to conspicuous consumption.
I generally am not taken in by ads. Well, that's not totally true. When Telus first introduced the commercial with the little black and white spotted pig, I was tempted to get a Telus cellphone account - but only if I knew the money I was handing over directly benefited that cute little porker. I'd always say "See? That works. I want to give money to the piggy." But I digress.
Both of these images posted on Diane's site made me giggle; that great sinful giggle when you know you shouldn't but you do anyway.
If her initial posts are any indication of what's to come, then we're all in for a treat.
