My Board Game "Soul Snatcher"

on September 22, 2008 - 1:23pm

A few years ago, I created a board game to play at one of my parties. It's acrylic paint on canvas (3 feet x 2 feet).

I made the playing cards to be shaped like toe tags, and even made little simple figurines to use as player pieces (these are currently in a box in the basement, so no pictures right now, sorry). I'll probably pull it out this year for my party.

In case anyone wanted a closer look of any of the pictures posted, I've uploaded larger images as well. Just click on the image you want to see and a bigger picture will load in a new window.

I was wondering if you could help me with the game. What is on the toe tag cards? I see that there are genres on the play board.. are these on the cards too? I have a 5 and 7 year old niece and nephew. I found this site and thought they might like to play the game. But it only had the pictures. I see the head stones direct the player but I wasn't sure that was the whole deal. They both like Halloween but they do still get scared by some things. Could you help me out with the toe tags and if there are more directions other than what's on the pictures. I also took down the crate game directions as they both like to throw any kind of ball they find. LOL I'll just have to find some zombies that aren't too scary; or I was thinking of mummy, werewolf, and vampire. Like in the color books. And the real deal for the older kids. Thank you for the games. I've been looking for things I can make to play with them that is cool and different other than video games.
Sincerely,
Drew H.
