Woody is a ghoul. He is unliving. Therefore, he worries he is unlovable.
He hummed and hawed, brainstormed and dreamed, trying to come up with a way to make himself more appealing. To be cute. To be cuddly.
It occurred to him that everyone loves woodland creatures. They are fluffy. They are sweet.
They have ears.
Blargh-lom nog yar!, cried Woody (which translates roughly to "I can have ears too!").
