Meet Froid (the French word for 'cold').
While Froid occasionally makes an appearance in coolers and lunch bags, he mainly lingers in the crisper drawer of fridges. He can tolerate the extreme cold of freezers, but prefers his food defrosted.
He romps through your groceries while you sleep. Using his horns, he's able to open containers - even cans - to gain access to his next meal.
Like many humans, Froid prefers fast food and will choose two week old chow mein takeout over fresh fruit any day.
Fresh vegetables do serve a purpose: Froid will often curl up in lettuce or carrot tops to sleep.
When he's eaten too much, he'll take a few licks of baking soda to calm his tummy.
Favourite treats include Coke Zero and pizza crust.
