How many of you Halloweeniacs have suffered burnt fingertips from black light bulbs? Those little glass balls of death which are cheaply made and cast hardly any light will soon be a thing of the past.

I was walking down the aisles of my local Canadian Tire store when I found these NOMA mini fluorescent light bulbs. They come in red, blue, black and green. The light they cast still doesn't compare to the larger blacklight tubes you can buy, but they are certainly much better than regular black light bulbs for indoor lighting.

And as an added bonus, unlike the old ones I used to buy, they don't heat up so fast that I'm paranoid the house will burn down.
