Dead Snow

I generally don't like fast moving zombies, but fast moving Nazi zombies? Ok. You have my attention.

Dead Snow is a Norwegian film that got a lot of buzz a while ago, but then the chatter fizzled. It was at this year's Sundance Film Festival, and apparently it will be released here next month.

The premise? A group of teenagers go on a ski vacation. They meet an older gentleman who talks of the history of the area, where German troops were slaughtered by angry locals living there in 1945.

Cue the Nazi-zombies.

And that's all that's important really.

I can't imagine it will be a favourite, but I get the feeling I'll be entertained just by the ridiculousness of the premise.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that there will be a sequel, "Rising Yeast", featuring a gang of undead pastry chefs.
