Christmas Custom: Salome
A fellow haunter and friend asked me to do a custom for her husband as a Christmas gift. She wanted me to make a minion with a pin-up girl flair (while staying true to the minion style).
I struggled, trying to find a balance, but in the end I was very pleased with what came out.
I named the minion Salome after the biblical temptress who, in my opinion, got a bad rap.
I've since gotten word that her hubby was most surprised and happy when he opened it up on Christmas.
Kinda neat knowing I was part of making someone's Christmas special. I know somewhere in North America someone else opened up a Plague Doctor that was bought for them back in August at Festival of Fear. And there's at least one more Ghoul Friday Christmas present story left to tell. One that I was bursting to share in August. I'll write out the whole long tale in the next post.
