Hey kids. Just a quick post to say yes, I am still here. Creative projects have been put on hold while I get the body back up to snuff. And since we're still in the winter season, I thought it's the perfect time to go on hiatus for a bit.
So what have I been doing for the past month or so? Well, I traded in time creating and posting online to time spent resting, exercising and getting more nutrition. Not terribly exciting, and I didn't want to bore you all with posts about Wii Fit, quinoa recipes, and complaints about how tired/sore I am (but if that appeals to you, then you can read my whining over on my twitter account).
I will, however, give you a quick update for those who are curious. I continue to rock the supplements; I've been doing yoga and strengthening exercises with some very basic cardio (which I define by any repetitive movement that makes me sweat). Sunday will mark the one month point of my new regime, and at this stage I've lost 8.5 pounds of extra weight. The plan is to keep it up, get healthier, bring more energy in so that I can push more creative juices out when spring officially hits.
I've been feeling guilty about not posting and not producing art, but hey, you have to take care of yourself first, right?
