Scaresdale Manor	Ontario	Home/Yard	"Scaresdale Manor is an independent home haunt in Oakville. It gets more complex every year and return visitors always enjoy the new additions. The haunt is also a charity fundraiser for the Juvenile Diabetes foundation."
Nightmare on Daly St.	Ontario	Community	In Palmerston you can visit "Nightmare on Daly St., a 2400 sq ft. haunt. The ghosts and goblins are lurking in the dark waiting for your arrival! Walk through the haunted maze at your own pace to view some interesting attractions, such as - The Hellevator, 3D room, graveyard, Dracula's room, etc. NEW this year - VORTEX TUNNEL, moving walls and lots of ghoulish new props. Scary, not gory!"
Reaper's Realm Haunted Forest Ride	Ontario	Community	In Sombra, you can hitch "a ride through a 12 acre haunted forest on our special topless reapermobiles, and walk through haunted house. Starting Sept.26th we are open every Friday and Saturday night (plus Sunday Oct.12th), running through until Nov 1st, 2008."
Haunt on the Hill	Ontario	Home/Yard	In the Forest Hill area of Toronto (at Bathurst and Eglinton), you will find last year's 'scariest house in Toronto' (according to Global TV). "My haunt consists of almost entirely homemade props (including a bleeding tombstone). I have a mad lab in the garage and more all over my house. I see over 350 kids each year and this year will be my first year raising money for charity." (Note: speaking of scary, users should know there are pop-up ads on this website).
La Maison des Damnés / House of the Damned	Québec	Home/Yard	Ste-Thérèse: "De retour pour une troisième année consécutive! La saison 2008 sera encore plus impressionnante venez nous visiter."
Thornhill Woods Haunted House	Ontario	Home/Yard	Great site of a Thornhill haunt: "The Thornhill Woods Haunted House is a good old fashion cemetery theme front yard haunt that’s packed with elaborate monsters, animatronics, tombstones, lighting and sound effects. It’s totally free of charge, but we ask everyone to donate to The Sick Kids Hospital".
Caledon Village Haunted Hall	Ontario	Community	This Caledon family oriented (no gore) Halloween tradition was started to "fundraise for the Headwaters Health Care Centre and participating organizations; to encourage youth involvement in the community; and to promote co-operation between community service clubs."
Rotary Haunted House	Ontario	Community	"Thirteen Days of FEAR! Visit Hamilton's Largest Haunted House. If you are ready for a private tour of the Grimsby & Streaper Casket Company, then come to the Rotary Haunted House. Enjoy the Halloween season with a real scare! Better then ever!" Located in Waterdown, they raise money for poverty reduction initiates, nutrition and literacy programs, and to assist in the international fight to eradicate Polio.
Quebec Halloween	Québec	Home/Yard	In this Sainte-Claire haunt, you're offered chills, thrills, and certified peanut-free candy (an initiative of Quebec Halloween and the first in Quebec!). "Relive the worst nightmares of your childhood! The evil tales and legends come alive in our haunted attraction. Wardrobes seem to open at night (is it the ghost of your grandfather?); a strange looking man follows you (is he a bloodthirsty vampire?); a dog in the night howls (remember the werewolf of London?). Your experience in our haunted attraction will probably convince you of their existence."
Screamshack	Ontario	Community	Promises of "a haunted attraction that at times can be very intense but mostly fun." Take what you will from that and decide if it's worth the trek to Coldwater. And don't forget to bring canned goods!
Houghton Haunt	Ontario	Home/Yard	If you're in Newmarket, stop by this family haunt that's been going strong for over four years. In case there are any locals reading this who would like to help out, they are looking for volunteers.
Windsor Haunting	Ontario	Home/Yard	Started in 2005, this Windsor haunt has been growing strong ("Dubbed on of the scariest haunts in Essex County") and collecting for charities while giving locals free admission to their eerie environment.
Stittsville Haunt	Ontario	Home/Yard	If we're going to be specific, this haunt is located in Ottawa, in the township of Goulbourn, east of Munster Hamlet. "The Stittsville Haunt began in 1998 with a few lawn props. In 1999 we added a few more props...the response I got from kids and their parents was incredible and I thought, what if I did something really big?". They do accept donations for charities, so be sure to check their website.
62 Hauntington	Ontario	Home/Yard	"62 Hauntington is a free home based haunt in Thornhill. Each year 62 Hauntington gets scarier and scarier. Months before Halloween constructions begins on new props for the coming Halloween season."
Frighton Cemetery	Ontario	Home/Yard	For over ten years, these folks have been haunting Hamilton: "This year (2008) we are collecting non-perishable foods for the Hamilton Food Share. For donating, you get to sit in Grim's Throne and have your photo taken (which will be posted on our Facebook group) making you eligible to win a gorgeous trophy (sponsored by Bellamy Towing)."
Scaryfield Manor	Ontario	Home/Yard	Scarborough is home to Scaryfield Manor. Their website seems to be at the beginning stages, but hopefully they'll update it with more content soon.
Viking Dark Works	Ontario	Home/Yard	"Viking Darkworks is simply a fun Home Haunt. Its creator, Chris Thomson, has been a Halloween enthusiast for many years, and after much research and frustration of finding that there were virtually no Canadian Haunt Suppliers and Companies (or Props!), he decided to branch out on his own". Chris builds (and sells) his own props in Barrie. Check out his website for some handy 'how-to's.
The Boogeymen Graveyard	Ontario	Home/Yard	Another haunt in Windsor, their website promises bigger and better things with the new year. They also have links to local happenings in the Windsor area.
House of Fright	Ontario	Community	Support local charities and have a great time with the family in Amherstburg at the House of Fright. There are less frightening activities and areas for small children, snacks at a reasonable price, and what sounds like a great group of people to celebrate the holiday.
