my website
You may see some strange things happening around here in terms of the display and menus and change in content. Fact is, I'm impatient while waiting for my website upgrade, so I'm playing around with sorting content on here. It's a big no no in the website world but...meh...I don't care.
So don't be surprised if strange menus show up (like, say, weird tabs along the top) and certain things vanish. I'm doing it on purpose.

Just trying out some new spam filters.
You'll see test comments here and there. Sorry if they show up in your feeds.

Curious what others say after you make a comment to a blog post? You can now subscribe to email notifications for follow-up comments. When you submit your comment, you'll see the option for notifications below the comment field (above the captcha).
I've been meaning to have that set up for a long time but it was just added to the list of things to do and set aside. I guess Saturdays are made for taking care of such things.
Now I actually have to clean *sigh*
If for some reason you subscribe to a thread but you're still not getting new comment notifications, please let me know.

I wanted to direct your attention to the new section on the website called Brains vs. Coffee. It started on twitter.com on Feb 20, 2009 when I typed the following tweet:
"Coffee...*stumble*...coooffee...*stumble*...braiiins ...hm? *shakes head* COFFEE.."
I found myself starting the day addressing the same question: Brains or Coffee? What's a ghoul to do? Can coffee really help me resist the urge for brains as I wake in a zombified state?
And now I'm posting these ponderings (containing 140 characters or less) daily to the website. The most recent post will be displayed in the block to the right. If you miss a couple or want to see all of them, click on the "more" link or the picture of the brain itself.
Hopefully some of you will get a kick out of it.
You may have noticed recently that the website has been sloooooow to load (beyond a zombie pace at times). Turns out our server is picking up the slack for a greedy, neighbouring server. We're currently dealing with our service provider and hope to have this rectified as soon as possible.
Please be patient if you are experiencing trouble. We apologize for the agonizing frustration this can cause (I'm ready to poke my eyes out over it), and hope everything will be back to normal soon.
In the meantime, keep creepin.
Ghoul Friday
